Dr Charlotte Carter

Clinical PhD Fellow

Charlotte is a clinical research fellow currently undertaking a PhD at the Singanayagam Lab. Charlotte studied Medicine at Bristol University, graduating in 2015. She completed Foundation and Core Medical training in South London. She is undertaking her speciality training in Respiratory and General Medicine in North-West London and has an interest in chronic suppurative lung disease.

 

Charlotte’s research focuses on the role of viruses in bronchiectasis. She is involved in the first-in-man viral challenge study in bronchiectasis aiming to determine if viruses induce exacerbations in bronchiectasis, and to define the immunological and microbial consequences of viral infection in this condition.
